Peppy Pastels ft. Camo Craze

Hi everyone!

Here’s a long overdue post I did featuring my brother Nabil. I’m aware that my audience is both male and female and wanted to have a little something for everyone in terms of fashion. He’ll be popping in and out of the blog so think of this as his mini debut. Also, my look was inspired by Dina Torkia’s (or more commonly known as Dina Tokio) MILKSHAKE  post.

I just love the fun and girly touch pastel colours add to an outfit. It’s simple yet elegant, and i’m usually a bit picky about colours but I feel that the soft pastel colours do well as a contrast to my darker skin. I absolutely adore the long shirt by my friends at Ummiriaz International. I find it refreshing as it’s usually difficult to find tops that comply with modest dressing. Although due to the recent boom in terms of modest fashion, i’m sure there are tons of places that now produce similar items of clothing, which by the way is greatly appreciated. Be sure to check them out at Haute-Elan.com. So without further ado, here it is!

CAMO CRAZE

Nabil decided to go for the opposite and came up with a military inspired look. It is said that the camo trend started in Paris last June, with brands such as Valentino, Kenzo and Dries Van Noten, but I feel that camouflage is a classic look (though who am I to say, i’m definitely no Valentino Lol). They’ve been around for a long while and as they say, trends come and go but perhaps this time, it’s here to stay.
